Biochar Symposium China - Call for abstracts

An International Symposium on "Environmental Behaviour and Effects of Biomass-derived Charcoal" has been announce for the 9-11th of October in Hangzhou, China. Abstracts should be submitted by the 31st of July. More details about the symposium can be found on the events page. 
 

Tasmanian Regional Biochar Meeting a Success

The regional biochar workshop held in Hobart on the 29th of June attracted a diverse crowd of interested stakeholders who heard from a range of biochar experts from various fields. The ANZ Biochar Researchers Network would like to thank Attilio Pigneri and UTAS for their efforts in organising the meeting. See the UTAS media release here. Victoria proposed for next biochar regional meeting

The ANZ Biochar Researchers network would like to host the next regional meeting in Victoria in late 2010. We are currently looking for volunteers in the region to assist with organisation.
